Cette \u00e9l\u00e9gante demeure, qui fut autrefois la r\u00e9sidence du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre producteur de cin\u00e9ma Angelo Rizzoli, abrite aujourd&rsquo;hui une extraordinaire collection d&rsquo;objets qui racontent l&rsquo;histoire de l&rsquo;ancienne colonie grecque de Pith\u00e9cusae. <\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\"><strong>Un mus\u00e9e, mille histoires<\/strong> <br>Le mus\u00e9e abrite plus d&rsquo;un millier d&rsquo;objets arch\u00e9ologiques qui t\u00e9moignent de la richesse et de l&rsquo;importance de Pith\u00e9cusae, la premi\u00e8re colonie grecque en Occident, fond\u00e9e au VIIIe si\u00e8cle avant J.-C. par des colons d&rsquo;Eub\u00e9e. Cette collection unique permet de reconstituer la vie quotidienne, le commerce et la culture de l&rsquo;une des plus anciennes colonies grecques. <\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\"><strong>Le joyau du mus\u00e9e : la coupe de Nestor<\/strong> <br>La pi\u00e8ce la plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre de la collection est sans aucun doute la coupe de Nestor, une d\u00e9couverte d&rsquo;une valeur historique et culturelle inestimable. D\u00e9couverte dans la n\u00e9cropole de San Montano par l&rsquo;arch\u00e9ologue Giorgio Buchner, cette coupe porte l&rsquo;une des plus anciennes inscriptions en alphabet grec jamais trouv\u00e9es. Les vers grav\u00e9s, qui \u00e9voquent le pouvoir de s\u00e9duction de la coupe de Nestor, constituent un t\u00e9moignage exceptionnel de la diffusion de l&rsquo;\u00e9criture alphab\u00e9tique dans
