Questa elegante dimora, che fu residenza del celebre produttore cinematografico Angelo Rizzoli, oggi ospita una straordinaria collezione di reperti che raccontano la storia dell&#8217;antica colonia greca di Pithecusae.<\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\"><strong>Un Museo, Mille Storie<\/strong> <br \/>Il museo conserva oltre mille reperti archeologici che testimoniano la ricchezza e l&#8217;importanza di Pithecusae, il primo insediamento greco in Occidente, fondato nel VIII secolo a.C. da coloni provenienti dall&#8217;Eubea. Questa collezione unica permette di ricostruire la vita quotidiana, i commerci e la cultura di una delle pi\u00f9 antiche colonie greche.<\/p><p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\"><strong>Il gioiello del Museo: la coppa di Nestore<\/strong> <br \/>Il pezzo pi\u00f9 celebre della collezione \u00e8 senza dubbio la Coppa di Nestore, un reperto di inestimabile valore storico e culturale. Rinvenuta nella necropoli di San Montano dall&#8217;archeologo Giorgio Buchner, questa coppa porta incisa una delle pi\u00f9 antiche iscrizioni in alfabeto greco mai ritrovate. I versi incisi, che parlano del potere seduttivo della coppa di Nestore, rappresentano una testimonianza eccezionale della diffusione della scrittura alfabetica nel Mediterraneo antico.<\/p><p
