The Experience

The route
The trail winds through ancient forests and terraced vineyards, revealing evidence of the island’s rural past: palmenti carved into the rock, ancient tuff dwellings and pits once used to store snow and raise rabbits. As you climb toward the summit of Mount Epomeo, the landscape transforms, offering increasingly spectacular views.
Encounters and Flavors
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to meet local farmers, keepers of ancient traditions and stories of the island. These encounters often turn into moments of sharing, where you will taste the products of the land and hear stories that will enrich your experience.
